In the 1970 elections, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman campaigned at the house of the late Yusuf Raja Chowdhury in the remote Haor area of ​​Sukhair Rajapur South Union.During his stay here from morning to evening, Bangabandhu offered prayers in the mosque adjacent to his house. At present, the museum has been built through the efforts of Mr. Amanur Raja Chowdhury, Chairman of his son Sukhair Rajapur (R). Blessed with the footsteps of the Father of the Nation, this house, if a large-scale official museum is set up, could be an ideal and scenic spot in the haor area.
